Spring cleaning

Y do most people do what is called as "Spring cleaning"?

Simple answer: to really clean what is obviously dirty. Or at least not extremely clean.

Although this is mainly related to one's house/apartment, I guess the term, and the process, can also be applied to one's life. If needed, one should seize this wonderful opportunity to clean all the filth that is running around in one's social and professional environments. If dirty beyond any sort cleaning method, the best procedure is to discard and renew.

I'm glad to say I've done my share of Spring cleaning. Now everything is shining.
